Mystical Maya: 5-Day Transformative Ancient World Journey

The trip was absolutely amazing experience for us. During 5 days we visited interesting places and we enjoyed whole way a lot. The organisation of the trip was perfect, we had a guide and a driver, they care about us very nice, the guide was really friendly and he told us many interesting information about Mayan history, about sights or about Mayan culture. Accommodation was in great hotels with swimming pools and the rooms were comfortable with air conditioning. The meals were not included, but we always had some stops in local restaurants with delicious food. Because of our guide we felt safe and comfortable during all way. We had big air conditioned car only for us, that was a big positive. We must recommend this tour a lot!

This tour was exactly what I wanted. Other tours were too general. This tour led by Alberto with driver Moses was the best Mayan experience. Lots of long drives but Alberto always offered lots of commentary on the history and legends.

This trip was Amazing. The van was new and nice the tour guide, Alberto, was knowledgeable and a joy to be with as was the driver, Jose. We saw so many beautiful pyramids and other joys like waterfalls and cenote (fresh water swimming hole). The accommodations were first rate. This trip does a loop around the Yucatan peninsula, all the way from Cancun to Palenque. Some days have long drive but at this time it’s the only way to see as much as we did. I can only whole heartedly recommend this tour as it was a comfortable beautiful set of unforgettable memories.

We had the most amazing time on the Mayan Heritage tour. Alberto and Jose were the best. Alberto was an excellent tour guide. He spoke English as well. We learned so much about Mayan history and saw incredible sights. I highly recommend this trip. We felt safe the entire time.

If we could give this tour 6 stars, we would! A deep dive into the history and ruins of the Mayan world, with stops at sites you have probably never heard of. Each site had something "extra" which made it unique. We were gobsmacked by the art, carvings, architecture, murals, statues and overall awesomeness. Max, our guide, supplied us with just the right amount of information, keeping us captivated and overwhelmed at the same time.

The visited sites gave us a complete picture of the Maya civilization in Yucatan, as well as an insight into the Spanish era. Special compliments to the excellent guide Max, who gave us detailed explanations of religion, art, architecture, from the start of human occupation in Yucatan to nowdays. And to the excellent driver Moises, ever so nice to us.

We did the 5 days tour with Max and Moises who were absolutely excellent. They shared a lot of information and made us feel comfortable and very well taken care of the entire time. We felt they really went above and beyond for us multiple times. We were the only people on the tour so it was essentially a private tour. Several of the sites we visited were essentially empty except for us. Max and Moises shared food and culture with us, not just Mayan history, and were patient and kind to let me practice my Spanish. Pepe was very easy and quick to communicate with and the whole experience was very smooth and enjoyable. It was a trip we will never forget.

We had an amazing trip! My mother and I spent 5 days exploring Mayan ruins with our fantastic guide Max and driver Moises. At most sites we were practically the only people there. Max was so knowledgeable about the history and culture as well as the important discoveries at the sites. Both also provided great recommendations for places to see like cathedrals and restaurants with local cuisine. The trip had a lot of driving to get between various sites and Max told us more about the history of the area and showed us colonial buildings and other sites. The first hotel we stayed at was a little loud because of some construction happening locally but the other hotels were lovely including one like a private resort and two right downtown where we could explore the towns we stayed in. The best part of the tour for me was seeing the ruins so close and even getting to climb a few temples. The perspective is so different from above the tree canopy looking down and it's amazing. The astronomical precision of the Mayans is still amazing to me today. It was a fantastic trip and I would definitely recommend it if you like learning about history and culture.

The tour guide Max and the driver Moses they are great! Very professional, very nice. They took us to local restaurants to eat, wonderful experience!
